This privacy policy tells you about the information we collect from you when you submit an enquiry to us via our website or contact us for an appointment. In collecting this information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

What personal data do we collect?

When you submit an enquiry to us, we ask you for your name, your email address, and your phone number.

Why do we collect this information?

We will use your information to respond to your enquiry and to use in your files used by our therapists during and after your visits here to us. We will endevour to provide you with the information you need at all times. We also do this so that we can make you aware of any future offers, such as Chiropractic care plans and Massage deals.

What do we do with your information?

Your information is stored in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which is hosted by PracticeHub. We have a contractual agreement with PracticeHub that commits them to complying with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

We will normally respond to you either via telephone or via email. We may ask for your consent to retain your information in our CRM system in order to send you further information that we think may be of interest to you.

We will not, nor have we ever sold your information to a third party and we do not use the information to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

How long do we keep your information for?

Your information is kept in our CRM system for as long as you give us your consent to send you information about the clinic and marketing offers on an ongoing basis.

Medical Files

Under the general Data Protection Regulations (2018)Act, we are required to retain information for the purpose of consultation for treatment, recording subsequent treatment, and for the use of third party medical practitioners only, at the request of the patient, in writing. All of this data is processed lawfully, securely and conform to the new regulations.

Any patient forms related to the person will be kept for a duration of no less than 7 years after your last visit to us and for children for a period of no less than 8 years after the child’s 18th birthday.

The patient information are held in files only accessible by the staff in the clinic who are directly involved in the data entry and processing of patient records.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, you can see it, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.

You can also ask for it to be erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information.

You can also ask us to stop using your information at any time, either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of any email communication, or by emailing, writing or telephoning us using the contact details above.
